VIDEO STYLE STANCE NO.8

MR. CHRISTIAN B. BARKER

Perhaps the impending royal weddinghas brought out the patriot in The World's Best Dressed Australian*, Editor of The Rake magazine and part time contemporary dance choreographer C.B. Barker. Perhaps. One of my main criticisms (there are many) of man-style is not following a look through. This could hardly be levelled at this Uber-prep: a veritable  Commonwealth of accessorisation in a blazer.  Shoreditch really will never be the same again.

MR. BARKER'S STANCE BREAKDOWN

(Click for link)

-Dunhill blazer - with silver buttons

-Tod's red white and blue Gommino driving shoe. Can't find. Where did he get those kiddies?

-Johnsons of Elgin Tartan scarf is from actual Scotland.

-Ignatious Joseph gingham shirt. Ignatious is a quite mad Asian/German shirt maker of some repute.

-RRL Jeans.

-Uniqlo socks. Barker explains cleverly the origin of the name- unique and low cost, (he's an editor you know). One of the best things in the shop, but not on the site. Dagnabbit.

-Andrews of Milan. Exists. Fact.

-Dunhill 'Bobby Finder' watch. Found rather idiosyncratic at the time but with retrospect rather like this kettle.

TS out.

PS. Note robe shouldering of author/camera man if you can.

* There are only two well dressed Australians.
