I've got a story for you. Been half-researching new, longer jacket scenario that's almost certainly going to be upon us shortly. It stands to reason. Jackets have been getting shorter and shorter, pushed by forces of fashion on tailoring, many of which now looking like no cut for old men.

Spoke to tailoring oracle, original style merchant and friend Mr.E.Sexton last night. He couldnt agree more. Always nice to have legends in your corner. He will be showing his longer length jackets in January's London Collections: Men. He's not even doing it by halves. We saw longer coats in varying lengths for SS2013, ranging from longer D-B to Nouveau Teddy Boy. Jil Sander, Zegna, Canali, Brioni were all at it. Others were never diverted into bum-freezing territories so don't have to adjust, such as E.Tautz and Tom Ford. Spoken to 'em all, and will hit ya with some images and information when I've finished my pink paper round.
